Trojans 6 Lost to Avenue 3 in a close match.
With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.
On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 16 ranking points separating the two players before the match.
Home advantage prevailed though, with Mark Alderman winning through.
It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 141 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, JIM BAIN.
With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.
Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, JAMES CRESPI, who over-turned a 687 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
